아이들의 순수한 시선은 전쟁 속에서도 웃음을 잃지 않게 한다. 웃음엔 두려움을 없애는 힘이 있다. 평화란 이런 순수한 웃음에서 나온다고 생각했다.

In "Anne's Diary," a book about Jewish life during World War II, there is a passage that goes something like this. "We all held our bellies and laughed. We weren't afraid of the artillery anymore. The fear was gone! The innocence of children's eyes is what keeps us laughing in the midst of war. Laughter has the power to dispel fear. I think peace is this kind of pure laughter. By exposing the uniform and adding frills to it, we undermine its violence and authority.
